Low-energy houses and their comparison with other building systems

In our company, no one doubts that building a low-energy house with KIMALL is worth the most when compared to our competitors. Let us  try to explain how we came to this bold, but not false conclusion.

House prefabricated by Topkimall system is inexpensive, very energy efficient and by far the fastest-built. Besides the mentioned advantages we have to consider also other  benefits, such as environmental friendliness, house could be take a part, moist - resistant and long term of utilization, After considering all this  we find out that the current construction is the most sensible way of building what the market offers.

The term "low energy" is not an indication of how the house was built. Low energy means that the finished house has excellent thermal insulating properties, so it is ready to save you money for heating.

Read Topkimall technology comparison with competitors and you to will also see it’s  clear benefits.

Disadvantages of houses built by other methods

1. - Construction by Thermo - brick

Construction by Thermo - bricks is always associated with the use of other materials, such as thermo - mortar, thermo - glue or thermo - plaster. Not even a  combination of all thermomaterials will reach thermal insulating properties which just Topkimall has.

2. - Building with blocks or bricks with polystyrene insulation system

The resulting thermal parameters of thermally insulated brick house is comparable with the system Topkimall, but obtaining costs are higher for the masonry construction and construction time is significantly longer. Brick insulated facade must be ventilated, because when brick is in contact with polystyrene the dew point occures. When the house  built by Topkimall system all thermal transfers are disconnected and therefore house built panel system Topkimall doesn’t  have a dew point.

3. - Construction with  panels from  different systems such as Topkimall

Topkimall patented system is self-supporting. This means that it has all thermal transfers disconected. If you use other panel methods to build your house , you will discover  that each has its supporting frame into which the insulation panels are inserted. Whether the supporting frame used by the construction company is  iron or wooden, the frame is always thermal transfer between the wall of the house and thereby it reduces the energy value of the building.

4. - Disadvantages of wooden constructions

In Slovakia, the term  "wooden house" means a house, on which support frame are screwed or nailed mostly varius plates – made from wood spills manufactured by organic adhesives, which insulation mineral wool is added. The main disadvantage of mineral wool is its moist absorption. You need to use a variety of vapor-permeable and vapor – resistant cling films to prevent entry of moisture, steam and water, and also to ensure good ventilation and wool parameters. Damp or wet mineral wool insulation has almost no thermal insulation properties. The building must be constructed very accurately and the resulting price is not  lower than the Topkimall system. It ´s quite the opposite. Construction made out of wooden agglomerated slabs constantly works after construction is finished. Foreign countries in the world use special wooden dried lumber, which is financially unacceptable for most customers in Slovakia.
